Vayva Technologies Ltd Accessibility Statement
Vayva Technologies Ltd (BN9089966), 19 Princess Bola Kazem, Shangisha, Lagos, Nigeria, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that all users, regardless of ability, should have equal access to our B2B commerce platform. This statement outlines our accessibility commitments, the standards we follow, and how to contact us with accessibility concerns.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define international standards for web accessibility. WCAG 2.1 Level AA addresses barriers across visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. Our target conformance level applies to the Vayva merchant dashboard, storefront pages, and all customer-facing interfaces.
The Vayva Platform includes the following accessibility features: full keyboard navigation support allowing users to operate all functions without a mouse; screen reader compatibility with popular assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver; sufficient color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimum requirements (4.5:1 for normal text); resizable text support up to 200% without loss of content or functionality; descriptive alternative text for all informative images and icons; properly labeled form fields with clear error identification and instructions; consistent navigation and identification patterns across all pages; focus indicators showing the current keyboard focus position; skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content; and responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and orientations.
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we acknowledge that some content may not yet be fully accessible: certain third-party integrations (payment forms provided by Paystack, analytics dashboards) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control; user-generated content (merchant product descriptions and images) may not always meet accessibility standards; and some legacy features may be in the process of being updated. We are actively working to address these limitations.
Vayva is not responsible for accessibility gaps in: third-party integrations (Paystack payment forms, analytics dashboards, embedded widgets) where Vayva does not control the interface; user-generated content uploaded by merchants, including product images without alt text, product descriptions lacking proper heading structure, or media content without captions; and third-party storefronts or websites operated by merchants that use the Platform but customize their own accessibility features. Merchants are solely responsible for ensuring that their storefront content meets applicable accessibility standards.
While Vayva makes best efforts to maintain WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we do not guarantee that every page, feature, or piece of content on the Platform is fully accessible at all times. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and new issues may arise as the Platform evolves. Vayva shall not be liable for any inability to access or use the Platform due to accessibility limitations, except to the extent required by applicable Nigerian law.
Accessibility is an ongoing priority at Vayva. Our continuous improvement efforts include: quarterly accessibility audits conducted by qualified reviewers; integration of accessibility testing into our development lifecycle; training for developers and content creators on WCAG 2.1 standards; engagement with users with disabilities to gather feedback; and monitoring of industry best practices and evolving standards.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Vayva Platform. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us: Email: support@vayva.ng | Phone: +234 913 700 0140 | Address: Vayva Technologies Ltd, 19 Princess Bola Kazem, Shangisha, Lagos, Nigeria. The Vayva Platform is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers; NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows; VoiceOver on macOS and iOS; and TalkBack on Android.
Vayva's commitment to accessibility is a best-efforts undertaking and does not create any additional liability beyond what is required by applicable Nigerian law. Vayva shall not be liable for: any inability to access or use the Platform due to accessibility limitations in third-party integrations; any merchant content that does not meet accessibility standards; or any indirect or consequential damages arising from accessibility barriers, except to the extent required by law.
